NEW ORLEANS — Harry Howard Jr. is a Digital Producer at WWL-TV in New Orleans.
Harry joined WWL-TV in June 2021 through Tegna's Producer in Residence program. In his first few months with WWL-TV, Harry helped the digital team cover Hurricane Ida.
Harry previously served as a Copy Editor and Sports Page Designer at The News and Advance in Lynchburg, Va. Before that, he served as a Sports Assistant at The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, VA. Prior to that, he freelanced as a sports reporter throughout Central Virginia.
Harry graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, with a degree in Communications focusing on Media Studies. While at ODU, Harry was the Sports Editor for their student-run newspaper.
When Harry isn't in the WWL-TV newsroom, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and trying new restaurants.
