NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Fire Department put a two-alarm fire in the Tremé neighborhood early Thursday morning.
Fire officials say they needed 17 units and 46 firefighters to bring the fire under control near the intersection of North Tonti and Dumaine Street.
Investigators are still trying to determine how it started.
The NOFD captain said that the home was abandoned and vacant.
No injuries were reported.
